Wall To Wall
It’s the end of September already can you believe this year has flown by so wildly? I feel like it was just a few weeks ago we were celebrating a new year and making a whole bunch of promises to ourselves we could not keep!
I am excited for the new month though, because that means high summer is rolling on in and I can start exploring my summer wardrobe again. Can you imagine living in a city with no summer? I would literally drop dead – okay I wouldn’t but I would really miss sunny days and wearing short sleeves for sure.
About This Look
I picked up this top on sale at Country Road during their end of season sale, its got a really cute fringed collar that looks like a scarf. I have been seeing neck scarves trending in the Northern Hemisphere’s summer season so I really loved the vibe this top gave to a regular look. My style really adapts very easily between very relaxed and chilled to super glammed up – which you can see when you go through my instagram account (@bakedtheblog). Most of my days are spent in sneakers. I have a collection spanning close to 50 pairs now – which seems a bit insane when I write it down. But I really do live in my kicks! I have recently acquired these from Spitz. They’re Lacoste tennis inspired hi tops – I feel really chic and french when I wear them for some reason. I styled them with Jeggings like this for a day out in Johannesburg recently.
